The Rise of Office Buildings as an Investment Thing

When I started my real estate career, office buildings were the headline of commercial real estate investment or institutional investment. And then the world changed and the world started to realize that apartments were a good investment thesis. The people who I was dealing with early in my career gave me my formative impressions of how we should be investing in real estate. We didn't have enough for entrepreneurial runway to put ourselves into business in a significant enough way.
