Funkadelic - The Prime Minister of Funk
Funkadelic was the more experimental band. James Brown had boiled down this highly syncopated approach to the point where his band was essentially a pure funk rhythm section. The lines between them blurred enough that most fans referred to Clinton's exploits as Parliament Funkadelic, or simply P-Funk.
