What Do You See?
In the final years of the kingdom, King Zedekar had made an ill-advised treaty with Pharaoh Hophra of Egypt. The chapter ends by comparing the fate that awaitsaraoh Hophra with the fate that befell Zedekar. All of this draws our mind back to Jeremiah chapter 1 verses 11 to 12 in the call of Jeremiah where the Lord grants Jeremiah his first vision.
