The Importance of Currency Devaluation
There is no happy ending to any of this. We're over a trillion dollars in deficit spending this year alone. Whenever governments play around with valuations, I think you end up with all kinds of perverse outcomes. It's like asking, should a price be higher? Or should it be lower? The dollar's value is what it is. If you artificially push it up, you're going to help some Americans at the expense of others. And maybe the problem is, is that we chose these words weaker and stronger.
