We make up one to two percent of the population on North America. 80 percent of the world's biodiversity is stewarded by Indigenous peoples. And so we're seeing huge gaps in critical resources, especially during a pandemic like COVID-19. We were promised through treaties, these sacred bargains, that our health care would be provided for at no cost.
