Cancel Culture Is So Pernicious That It Shouldn't Be Given Voice
Cancell culture is so pernicious. It springs from a well meaning, if in some ways ostensibly liberal, value of respect for other people but is taken to an extreme that it actually winnows the world of ideas. Vix: A good society should be able to wrestle with these different frames,. These different mental models, to come up with better answers to its challenges. We can stick to the frames that we have and to the counter factles that we are familiar with if there is very little change in the circumstances. But if we are faced with exidential challenges, and if we require a very significant we think then we need to go beyond that.
