Do You Have Dignity?

Dignity can seem not so hard, but by attending to the black experience where the interlocking structures of domination run so deep and are so formative, the challenge is really stark. One response particularly in the theology profound text is to say that only something like faith and hope and love is an appropriate response to finding oneself in this kind of situation. That's one sort of version of doing it or following the logic there. Another is focusing on community, right, and the sort of community of those who struggle as resonating with each other.
