The only elements of autobiography in the book are those that are strictly relevant to the ideas that I explore. The reason why the writing process went quite smoothly, relatively speaking, is because this is a subject I'm passionate about. If you're writing about something you are passionate about, something that you've spent a lot of time reflecting upon, that passion, that intensity would drive your writing.
