Aristotle might have a notion of what it means to be a good parent or a good child. And he'd be fine with that, if so long as it's for the sake of the good. I think one of the things that goes wrong in a lot of people's romantic relationships is that they don't spend enough time contemplating them and thinking about how to make them better.
