Is the Church Misrepresenting the Book of Abraham?
Members are taught to defer their critical thinking to an outer source. The church knows that on some level they are using their scholarship to push, you know, bad historicity of these topics. Every little literally every word that comes out of John Gere, Kerry Moulstein's mouth, regarding the book of Abraham, she have a big warning saying warning. These dudes are using scholarship to justify beliefs counter counter to the prevailing consensus of the science that they pretend to represent. And it's just, it's a really disingenuous approach.
