A bar owner called Chicago Police Department and said that one of his semi-regulars, a man named Roger Arnold, had been bragging about having cyanide in his home. The police thought it sounded like a pretty good tip. They went out to the Lincoln Avenue bar scene, asked a lot of the different bar owners and bartenders to give them a call when Roger showed up. A few days later, on October 11th, Roger came in to a bar called the lease. And they went and rounded him up.
