The History of the Yamnaya in Eastern Europe

The Kukatreni-Trapilia are regarded as a Calcalithic society otherwise called the Copper Age. The Yamnaya seemingly expanded their influence along the Danube River Valley into the grasslands of the Panonian Basin roughly the lands of Hungary. This would bring them into close contact with the corded were cultures of Northern Europe. It is believed that this journey from Southeast Europe to Northern Europe is the story of the emergence of Proto-Germanic languages.
