The police are just making formal what the british public already knew. During lockdowns, senior government figures had been partying repeatedly while private citizens were halled up at home. In prior eras or under different leaders, this kind of thing would lead to a string of resign ons for mister johnson. It's most probably just another briefly troubling news cycle.
