The Cup of the Wine of Wrath
Babylon conceived of itself as a great building project, the construction of a vast empire and power structure. The means of babylon's building was iniquity and bloodshed. All such endeavours are doomed to futility by the lord. Gain through evil doing is short lived; any edifice founded upon it is unsound.
