The Importance of Objective Chance

Sifersley: When you see in the scientific theories a probability that people tell you this is, and here's the quote, objective chance. A lot of quantum theorists would say that there is objective chance. Here is where the universe is no longer nice and clean and tidy. This is where science can no longer explain stuff. If we could explain stuff, then the probabilities would be epistemic. It's an almost ideological statement to merely use the term objective chance because some people are very opposed to the very notion that it exists. And we will get to that because that's another thing that I want to follow up on.
