The Purpose of Mapping the System

Disposable cups, or single use cups, can create something like 250 billion a cups are used world wide a year. A lot of businesses are built on the single use cup. So why might we want to redesign this? Just may give all of you a little bit of fuel. We want to reimagine some part of this system.
