How to Make a Jet Engine Thrust

Inside a jet engine, what happens is you suck in air from outside and mix it with fuel. You ignite it and that ignition is essentially results in an explosion which expels gases out of the outlet behind the jet engine. Temperatures are higher than the melting point of iron and steel and many metals. So then the question is if the temperatures are so high for a jet engine to have a certain amount of thrust which you need. That's where we are behind. We have not invested in material science.
