Artists and game developers have had some more balance takes on AI-generated art. Tor found themselves in the center of an absolute mess for using AI to create a book cover last year. The data sets being largely built from unethically sourced material is worrying. If laws around copyright and theft are put in place, then maybe AI can be a great tool - not so much a terrifying one.
