The Relationship Between ADHD and Depression
I think growing up, I didn't think these issues were severe. When you get scolded as a kid, or when you do something wrong, you have to acknowledge the problem. But when I keep showing up over and over again, I don't want to be scolded anymore. And then it kind of turns into, oh, there's something wrong with me. Not there's an issue that I need to fix because there was no proper way to like actually go about the problem. So I learned at a very young age, it's easy to dismiss everything, struggle on your own, and then pretend like everything's fine.
