Is Twilio a Better API?
I think companies that have done that really well, Twilio and Stripe, where the API is their product to a large extent, they have to get it right. And so because there's less of a barrier to having that communication, it can lead to tighter coupling. So I think you should be designing services that way. But then perhaps something will change at a point and it's like, oh, yeah, that API design was suboptimal. Like you can see that being the other version, worst case scenario.
