When Pam walked by the bedroom where they were fighting, she caught a glimpse of her dad packing a suitcase. He left that day and never saw me again. It was a very difficult thing. We didn't make plans to do anything or maybe we'd see him at a funeral. That feeling of rejection, it would haunt Pam. She learned to push it aside to distract herself... music became the ultimate distraction.
