What Is an Emotion?
Both sides agree that god has emotions. They just disagree over what god's emotional life is like. The classical theist and the non classical theist, they both agree thatgod has emotions. Both agree that whatever emotions god has, these emotions must be consistent with god's perfect rationality and perfect moral goodness. As perfectly rational, god acts on the basis of objective reasons. According to t j Mawson, god's moral goodness can be understood along three moral dimensions, diontic, consequential and virtue.
