The Laws of Israel
There's even a very brief callback to the promises given to Abraham in Genesis 12, three. So I think that's indicating that when they enter the land, there's going to be strangers and sojourners and Gentiles who are being incorporated into the people of Israel. The entry into Canaan has just been delayed 40 years and an attempt to enter has failed at the end of numbers 14. And these laws emphatically answer yes. But more than that, as Sam just mentioned, the laws are an assurance that their harvest and land would be abundant as they stipulate that large quantities must be offered with each animal.
