How Solomon Collected Wisdom From Unbelievers
Solomon composed proverbs himself. He would put things together in a little pithy saying after he'd concluded something from his own observation. Many of them are arabic, collected from an arab philosopher. But solomon recognized that there was sense in the world, and he didn't mind where he got it as long aas it was wisdom in god's sight. You can learn common sense from unbelievers, but in unbelievers it's in a godless context. Its in the wrong framework. And you can bring that sense and bring it into a god framework. That's why god is mentioned 90 times in the book of proverbs, but it's always the name
