The Physics of Pulsars
The fastest spinning pulsar we know of spins 716 times per second. This high energy system is exactly the kind of thing that general relativity predicted should radiate gravitational waves. But it would take something enormous and massive for us to be able to see it here by us, they're much smaller than a bomb dropping into the ocean where you get ripples up on the beach.
