The Importance of Inventing Your Own Instruments
There's another instrument from a company called Pupiloson that was a digital reverb that you could play off of the keyboard. And those were the inspirations for the idea of the emulator. But as it evolved, there was a lot of invention. In fact, looking back to our investors asked me, can we patent all this stuff in the emulators? We just got some investors in the company when we came out with the Emulator. I didn't know about patents because I thought, well, this stuff is fairly obvious. Well, it turns out that obviousness to the patent office is not obviouss to the inventor.
