Why Latter Day Saints Do Not Use Cross Iconography
As recently as last general conference, Elder Holland reminded us that Latter Day Saints do not use cross iconography. I pulled a quote from that talk because in a classically subversive move, I kind of want to use it as a setup to talking about the reasons why I do wear a cross. To be a follower of Jesus Christ, one must sometimes carry a burden, your own or someone else's and go where sacrifice is required and suffering is inevitable.
