What I Love About 529s and Roth IRAs
Matt Welch: 529s get so much love and it's because Wall Street makes money on them. You have to have the 529 for at least 15 years before you can put your money in a Roth IRA. The longer you have the 529,you can just get it out of there and put it into a Roth. He says he wishes they would have played with the covered L. "It just makes me mad."
