The Importance of Scale in Permaculture
In order to make that kind of conversion, we need 10 to 15% of the world's population to become farmers within a generation. So it is how do we use the systems that are in place to move towards what we see as a solution and what is possible? And then backyards is great but agriculture happens on big farms. Right now here in the US at least those are very low population areas and farming doesn't pay terribly well.
