Nenevi: A Comparative View of Babylon
The topographic location of Nenevi compares to someone like Babylon further south on the Euphrates. It is much better suited for collecting lots of water and from a higher level of water too. And I think that if Nebuchadnezzar had built in Babylon, it would have had to be more or less on the flat because the place beside his palace is very constricted by great walls & gates. So Sinacarib did build it. He said that he put in certain kinds of trees, not date palms.
