You don't change numbers through your life. You are pretty much set in your number by about the age of five. A lot of people believe that you start off your life with a really strong one side wing, and then as we grow... We take energy from both sides of our wings. There's just not nine different uniforms we all wear. The lines on the enagram diagram point to the number that your number goes to,. either in times of need or stress, or in times of excess or overflow.
