The Rise and Fall of Faith

The rate of change or progress, as it's called, seems to accelerate and knows no natural terminus. We create this situation where we are always assuming that we are arriving at the most true conclusions or most true way of living right now. There's an assumption that in the point in time that we inhabit right now, that it is the absolute best. And yet that doesn't give us pause when it comes to the violence that we're willing to perform.
