The key to understanding central bankers and central banking is they print the money. So, that's the central bank buying their own bonds. The user of money faces a budget because if we don't work, we don't have money. Whereas the issuer has no budget constraint. That doesn't play out very well in the long term as what goes back to this idea: You're socializing the losses of the banks in some way, shape or form. And you're penalizing the punter, right?
