walter judd was a congressman from minnesota for about 20 years. He served in both north china and south china for a total of ten years. And he admired the communists because they were disciplined, unlike a lot of the bandit groups at that time. They were well organized, well behaved. But he became very suspicious about them. It's this question that president byton and and others have raised, about a contest between authoritarianism and democracy. No more more can be said about that.
