Why would a business owner give away controlling stake in their business without an capital? Well, there's a number of different reasons and we look at it in terms of motivation. For me, I will look at distress companies, but I'm not particularly interested in solving someone else's mess. What I'm more interested in is helping someone who's got a great product or service and helping them to scale that business.
