The History of the Early Bishops

The days are over of playing ignorant or blind faith. The early bishops saved the New Testament from corruption. It is abundantly clear to me that they knew what they were doing and they were able to create a system of defense, a chain of custody which could not be broken because checks and balances were there. Yes, God did it because he said he would preserve his word, but this is the method in which God did it. Regardless of how you feel about apostolic succession, regardless of how you feels about the office of the bishop, this is the historical method God used to protect and save the New Testamentfrom corruption. That's the historical reality.
