I Love You Because You Have Value, and You Love Me Because You've Got Value
i've always been unsatisfied with elenor's account of love, because i've never understood how that is really an account of love. To love some one is o value an individual's existence flourishing and a kind of union with them. So you start with valuing just at that being is, and then you want that being to flourish, right? But that's not all to love some one, it's not sort of like an abstract, removed valuing. And then a kind like valuing goodness with that being, or some sort of union. That might sound abstract and strange, but say, when my first son was born,. i can't believe this amazing creature exists,
