Sri Dhamma: The opponent is questioning how the knowledge of the world started first, not the ignorance of Brahman. Sri Dhamma says it's just like Vachaspatimeshra, one of the great sub-commentators,. he writes here, Bhijankuravat; you can't say from seed to plant, plant to seed, seed to plant again. So it's a beginningless series. And that series is rooted in ignorance, and therefore the question arises then next, how did ignorance start then?
Adhyasa Bhashya is Adi Shankara’s introduction to the Brahma Sutras. Swami Sarvapriyananda gives a brief overview of this commentary, over three sessions.
