The Rich Are Villains in the Story

The rich do with their money what the financial sector kind of guides them to do. So i think there is at least some blame here in the financial sector, that it's the financial sector that is guiding this money to be given out to entra prenors and home owners. And one of the points we make in the book is to say that, if anything, the government actually in rages exactly this kind of inefficient lending product. They encourage banks to only lend via debt financing. It's a broader problem. Its not that the rich are villains in the story. It's just that the financial sector channels their money into more ixed income debt like products....
