The History of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever
During World War II, the infrastructure for water supplies or draining and plumbing essentially collapsed. D'Niskido populations grew enormously and they found plenty of hosts as people were also on the move. The urban centers couldn't keep up with the growth in terms of infrastructure. And so you just have all of a sudden these mosquitoes are like, well, we have plenty of hosts here to be able to do our thing.
