CNN's Nick Terce finds that at least five members of the Niger Hunta were trained by the US. America has now paused security assistance to Burkina Fesso, which is ruled by a military officer who took power in a 2022 coup. Tarsa: I think the reason why the US really cares about Niger again is they don't want to give up that drone base.
