System and Process Thinking - A Map to Performance

The more we can see the world as an intersection of multiple systems within a system,  the more we liberate ourselves from thinking from an ego tric point of view. And how does that ability, in your experience, a map to performance? What's possible, what becomes possible when you can take that wider perspective and see the interconnectedness? Well, one performance a hinge on one's ability to one be focused and ane concentrated on particular piece of work that needs to be done but also seeing that in the context of the broader system.
