How to Treat a Hot and Affected Patient

A patient with heat stroke will present with hot, dry skin and altered mental status from a hot environment. We need to aggressively cool the patient. Next, ingestions. First, where did they come from? Is this heat stroke? I like to think about my differential for these patients in three categories. Now onto the fun part. Let's use our differential to guide our history, physical and workup.
