What Is Hyperlexia?

An ability to read words without prior training and learning to read typically before the age of five. Hyperlexic is when they're like, just, you know, completely fascinating. Often they'll perseverate on words and letters and numbers. But that doesn't necessarily mean that they have the heightened ability to understand what they mean.
