The Evolution of the Memetic Cluster
Humanity can be thought of as like an evolving firmware, which is our biological predilections. But on top of that, evolving firmware sits in evolving software, which isOur cultural and religious, memetic cluster. And you can look at any long lasting memetic cluster, and you can see how it augmented our psychology to fix some of the problems we have. You know, since Pew started recording, the conservative cluster in America has always been happier than the progressive cluster. It's because they're operating off of this more intact, rather than like jury rigged code base that's sitting on top of them.
