The Rise and Fall of the British Empire
In 1750s, England needs a ton of money due to the Seven Years' War. The British start coming to the colonies and they're being quartered here. Everything is now getting taxed. It's not just your sugar. It's your paper. It's everything. And at a certain point, it just starts to become too much, and people are starting to get fed up with it. Stamped backs, towns and acts. Sugar acts, tea acts.
