Virginia Hall's Story
Virginia Hall became the first female agent in SOE's French division. She was recruited by Nicholas Bodington, a senior officer in Special Operations Executive. Her training taught her how to make invisible ink and fire a gun. After training she returned to Vichy France with a cover story that she was a correspondent for the New York Post. But her real mission was to recruit agents for the resistance.
