Is Frieda Frieda's Art?

She's a bit of an outlier, to be honest. The way she's gone in and out of fashion is quite interesting as well. I think Frieda wouldn't have really cared if she was fashionable or not. Her surrealism came from a totally different school of thought than the sort of establishment surrealist. So that's what I really like her art. It's just so unapologetic. We her. And even now, it's so modern and refreshing.
