Senior Ministers Can't Run at All

I've always been involved in local sporting clubs to try and keep in touch with the real world. It's lovely to actually spend time with real people outside of the church world. But if you make the senior minister needs to be engaged in mission, needs to be active in these things, it will run out of steam. I think the senior minister can't run at all. Now, this is a reality we need to face. If you think that the answer to church life is the senior minister doing the evangelism and being an evangelist and getting out of evangelizing, it just won't flow through adequately. You need to be doing it.
