What Happened to the American Pilots and Zero Lets?
The men who lived through it did too. The facts as individual pilots tell them, especially tom lanfear, often do not add up. In fact, sometimes they're downright contradictory. I've been reading about this handful of minutes for like two months straightn ow, and i still struggle to keep it totally coherent in my head. Suffice to say, tom landfear, rex barber, mitch mitchell, the other dozen or so american pilots and the japanese zero lets all emerged from the engagement with very different perceptions of what had occurred. What we will look at is how those differing versions of reality infected their relationships with one another afterwards.
